He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Darrell Stratton and Thora Brewer Stratton; his stepdaughters, Debra Howe and Paula Glenn; and his siblings, Jack Ramie Stratton, Arthur Darrell Junior Stratton, Billie Thompson, Bonnie Stratton and Sylvia "Polly" Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Gail Barnette Stratton; his stepdaughter Kimberly Lockhart; his grandchildren, Will Lockhart (Kristen), Hannah Lockhart, David Glenn IV, Colin Glenn and Zachary Harman; and his great grandchildren, Landry Lockhart, John William Lockhart III and Brendon Harman.
