He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his parents, James T. Spurlock Sr. and Gearldine Compton Spurlock; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Lowe (late Barb). He is survived by: his children, Steve F. Spurlock (Shereena) of Pikeville and Rachel S. Baker (Tim) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Baker, Mason Howard Baker (Allisan), Sarah Kathryn Baker and Heidi Jane Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Lowe Friend (late Steve), Helen Lowe Altman (late Harry E.) and Tim Swanston (late Blanche).
