He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morgan Smallwood and Erma Roberts Smallwood. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Morgan Smallwood; his sons, John K. Smallwood (Leca) and James K. Smallwood; his sister Dorothy Hunt; his grandchildren, John D. Smallwood, Joshua Smallwood, Marissa Coleman, James C. Smallwood, Todd C. Smallwood, Brandon S. Smallwood and Haley M. Kimper; and his great grandchildren, John B., Kinsley, Brinley, Raeleigh, Lucas, Ryker, Cole and Athena Lou.
