Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Comer and Marie Blackburn Comer; and her sister Jo Ann Coffey. She is survived by: her daughter Angie McCoy; her son-in-law Freddie of Pikeville; her grandson Freddie "Hobo" McCoy (Molly) of Georgetown; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Cade McCoy and Archer Hayes McCoy; her sisters, Phyllis Haynes of Pikeville and Janet Caudill (Phil) of Galion; and her pet Maggie.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson Memorial Park (163 Johnson Cemetery Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
