He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ratliff and Madeline Williamson Ratliff; his brothers, Bobby Ratliff, Clarence Ratliff and Curtis Ratliff, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Adams and Johnny Short.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin Ratliff; his children, Tim Ratliff (Karen), Sheila McCoy (Hobert Jr) and Becky Childers (Doug Blair); his siblings, Clinard Ratliff (Linda), Bill Ratliff (Betty), Ray Ratliff (Carol), Raymond Ratliff (Pam), Lurley Short and Virgie Adams; his sisters-in-law, Trish Ratliff, Ocie Ratliff and Polly Ratliff Robinson; and his nephews, Perry and Greg Ratliff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of loving family and friends.
