He is survived by: his wife Ivy Hamilton Compton; his children, Greg Compton (Misty), Angela Carroll (Matthew) and Randy Compton (Janie); his grandchildren, Sally Damron (Austin), Larry "Bo" Justice and Kanesha Compton; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Shyla, Jordan, Harper, Kenzie and Penelope.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Calendar Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
