We bid farewell to Lavonne Tatterson of Pikeville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Lavonne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Lavonne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lavonne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cochran and Ruby Hamilton Cochran; her husband John Tatterson; and her siblings, Ruth Scott, Edith Kells, Phyllis Howard, John Cochran and Floyd Cochran.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dewey Cochran (Connie) and Matilda Scott. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews and other Family and Friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home (1118 S Mayo Trail, Pikeville, KY 41501). An entombment will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4907 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
