With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jean May of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lee Coleman; her husband Carmel May; her siblings, Gladys Slone, Jettie Fern Newsome, Hazel Ray, Frank and Orville Coleman; and her half-brothers, Jesse and Carl Coleman.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Newsome (Melissa) and Nathan Newsome (Melissa); her grandchildren, Markayla Howell, Jarred Keene, Madison Newsome, Kaitlin Slone and Sha Newsome; her sisters, June Tackett and Ocie Thacker; and her half-sisters, Zelda Shaver and Opal Lockney. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
