With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nada B. Adkins (Pikeville, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nada left this world on November 19, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Abner Adkins Jr.; her parents, Arthur Branham and Billie Branham; and her sisters, Theda Cobbs and Carole Bowling.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Adkins (Sherry), Gary Adkins (Susan), Melinda Justice (Jimmy) and William "Bucky" Adkins (Carrie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson Memorial Park (163 Johnson Cemetery Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
