We are sad to announce that, on August 22, 2023, at the age of 81, Phyllis Mae Smith of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McCoy and Belva Lamb McCoy; her husband Vernon Estill Smith; her daughters, Christina King and Beverly Mae Smith; her siblings, Ruth Yates, Eugene McCoy, Harold McCoy, Raymond McCoy, Ronald McCoy and L. D. McCoy; and her son-in-law Kermit Ray Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Kellie Kennard (Greg), Ruth Williams, Pamela Smith, Freddie Smith, Vernon Smith (Michelle) and Jimmy Parsons; and her sisters, Lucy McCoy and Pauline McCoy. She is also survived by ten Grandchildren; twenty-two Great Grandchildren.
