He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Thacker, Sr. and Nancy "Ninnie" Thacker (Slone); and his siblings, Victor Darrell Thacker, James Gene, Larry, Raymond Thacker, Sarah Coleman Tibbs, Alice Marie Saylor, Mercy Belle Weddington and Pricey Jane Scott.
He is survived by: his children, David Thacker (Crystal) of Pikeville, KY, Ralph Thacker (Michelle) of Kimper, KY, Curtis Thacker (Charlie Marie) of Belfry, KY and Nancy Thacker of Belfry, KY; his siblings, Michael Thacker (Annette) of Kimper, KY, Cleveland Thacker, Jr. (Wanda) of Kimper, KY, Bud Douglas Thacker of Goshen, IN and Betty Carol Thacker (Rick) of Virgie, KY; and his close friend Larry Bostic. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
