He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hamilton and Octavia Keathley Hamilton; his former wife Rebecca Ray Hamilton; his children, Ricky Hamilton and Tammy Bentley; and his siblings, Gary Hamilton (Emogene), Emil Hamilton (Annabelle), Roy Hamilton (Judy), David Hamilton (Pearl), Lucian Hamilton, Wayne Hamilton, Ethel Syck (Albert), Mildred Hall (Ned) and Martha Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Coleman Hamilton; his children, Bobby (Camilla Hamilton) of Pikeville, Kenneth (Mary Hamilton) of Pikeville, Steven Hamilton of Pikeville and Viva Denita McCoy of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Patrick Trivette), Cory (Dawn Jordan Hamilton), McKenzie (Hallie Hamilton), Ethan Hamilton, Norman Ramsey and Jordan (Tina Newcomb Ramsey); his great grandchildren, Sierra Trivette, Katrina Jordan, Jordan Ramsey Jr. and Harper Grace Ramsey; his brother-in-law Jessie Coleman; Alpha Hamilton of Pikeville.
