He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest McGuire and Effie Williamson McGuire; his wife Betty Jo McGuire; and his siblings, Magdeline McGuire, Dolly Robinson, Catherine Robinette, Leon McGuire, Leslie McGuire and Charles McGuire.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Gloretta McGuire, Donnie May (Pricey) and Terry May (Angela).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial (4964 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4907 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
