He was predeceased by: his father Cornelius Thacker; and his granddaughter Evelyn Mae Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Silcox Thacker; his daughters, Miracle Elaine Thacker (Matthew Elswick) and Eva Marie Thacker; and his siblings, Terry Thacker, Bernadette Allen, Maggie Dye and Sherry Scaggs (Donnie).
