He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Collins and Bessy Collins. He is survived by: his wife Mona Irene Hunt Collins; his family, Charles and Connie Rowe; his siblings, Chuck, Derek Rowe and Kimberly Thacker; and his grandchildren, Damon Bentley, Tammy (Mikey Brizendine), Terriona Duty, Tiara Duty, Chelsea Duty, Amari Collins, Mycah Collins and Taylor Hord. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM at the Creekside Church (1576 Island Creek Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
