With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Alynn Cole Wright of Pikeville, Kentucky, born in Hellier, Kentucky, who passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Gibson and Juanita Gilliam Gibson; her former husband Lowell Cole; her son Lowell Cole, Jr.; and her sisters, Betty Blevins, Katie Fields and Lerie Cole.
She is survived by: her close friend James Lowell Wright; her children, Freddie Cole (Thersa Holbrooks) of Pikeville, Linda Cole of Pikeville, Kentucky., Juanita Bartley of Pikeville, Kentucky. and Betty Cole Thacker (Quicker) of Pikeville, Kentucky.; and her siblings, Otis Gibson, Jr. and Sally Hughes of Pikeville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to be made to the Funeral Home.
