He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Marion and Marilyn Cecil (Giard); and his siblings, Tobie Ann Crum and Timothy Cecil. He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina, Samantha Cecil (Tim) of Pikeville, KY and Katelynn Tallant (Jacob) of Corbin, KY; his grandchildren, Ashton, Lindsay, Kylie and Kaisley; his brother William Cecil of Mt Sterling, KY; his nieces and nephews, Alexis Allen (Kyle), Austin Thomas Sam and True (Beverly Hamilton, family: Elijah Bartley); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paislee and Harper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM and at 10:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (4902 Zebulon Hwy, Raccoon, KY 41501).
