He is survived by: his children, John Edward Friend (Becky) of Richmond, Tina Friend Amos of Pikeville and Constance Nichole Moore of Orlando, Florida.; his grandchildren, Derek Logan Friend, Lucas Bradley Amos, Mia Bella Moore, Logan Oliver and Jessica Peyton Goodwin; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Dawn Friend, John Aaron Friend of Scarlet Oliver, C. J, Colton Goodwin, Kylee Goodwin and Luke Goodwin.
