He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Flynn and Clara Evelyn Flynn (Jones); and his sister Kay Sewell (Gary). He is survived by: his brothers, Ray Flynn (Phyllis) of Pine Knot and Johnny Lee Flynn (Mindy) of Roanoke, Virginia; and his close friend Melissa "Missy" Flynn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
