He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Boyd and Doris Fuson Evans; and his brother Richard Evans. He is survived by : his children, Christopher Shane Evans (Jessica) and Madison Peeler; his grandchildren, Laken Evans, Eloise Hood and Oliver Hood; and his siblings, Robert Edward Evans and Karen Thacker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Inc. (106 Cherry St, Pineville, KY 40977). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
