He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Sproles and Jessie Lee Hendrickson Sproles; and his sister Kathy Slusher (Paul). He is survived by: his wife Helen Lee Sproles; his children, Johnny Richard Sproles, II and Shannon Leigh Thacker; his grandchildren, Jessica, Anisah, Aaron, Madison and Johnathan; and his brother Michael Sproles (Wilma). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
