She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Noel (Ed) and Martha Emily Miracle Hoskins; her husband Wiliam Henry Smith; her children, Judy and Freddie Lee; and her siblings, Ben Hoskins, Lonnie Hoskins (Mary Rachel), Ewell Hoskins (Sevie), Ewing Hoskins, Edward Hoskins, Fred Hoskins (Mable), Elsie Hoskins, Fannie Barnett (Richard) and Thelma Saylor (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Coy Smith (Shelia), Linda Smith and Fern Risner (Phillip); her grandchildren, Coy Allen Smith (Teresa), Russell Smith (Sandy), Mike Smith (Haley), Jeff Hurst, Stacy Risner (Leslie), Tabitha Risner, Melinda Johnson (Jamie) and Hannah Ruth Shelton (Ed); her great grandchildren, Liam Risner (Savannah), Ethan Risner (Lex), Seth Risner, Eli Smith, Everett Smith, Ella Smith, Abby Johnson, Austin Johnson (Julia) and Brooke Hurst; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Spencer Cline and Jade Hesson (Chris); and her great great grandchildren, Dakota Risner and Elliott Hudson Risner. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
