He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Patterson and Lillie Patterson; his siblings, Luster Patterson, Carnes Patterson, Ronald Ray Patterson, Michael "Mitch" Patterson, Arnold Patterson and Essiline Patterson Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Patterson, Benton Jones and Sam Mosley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Patterson; his children, Brandon Patterson, Lucas Green, Anthony Patterson, Shane, Krystin Patterson, Brittany (John Hunley), Diane (Lester Clouse) and Wendy Hernandez; his siblings, Custer Patterson, Oscar Patterson, Glen Patterson, Clyde (Mary Patterson), Claude (Diane Patterson), Evelynn (Vernon Wages), Tressie Mosley and Marie Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Phillips, Jr. and Rannie Patterson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
