Ruby left this world on September 29, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carew Slone and Margaret Slone; her sisters, Norma Sparkman, Girdell Watts and Rita Watts; Carew, Margaret Slone Brothers (Phillip) and Gene.
She is survived by: her husband David Daniel Jacobs; her children, David Jacobs (Sherry), Twyla Messer (Dave), Trina Ratliff (Kerry) and Tricia Slone (James David); her grandchildren, Hillary Marcum (Tyler), Solomon Jacobs, Nicholas Ratliff and Blake Slone; her great grandchildren, Kerrigan, Maverick Marcum Brothers, Ronnie and Brady; and her sisters, Glenna and Joyce.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
