The passing of Sonia Lynn (Ayers) Way of Pleasureville, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 55. She was predeceased by: her father James Douglas Ayers; and her brothers, Roy Lewis Hardin, Lonnie Clifford Hardin and Pete Ayers. She is survived by: her mother Edna Mae Ayers (Cox) of Defoe; her husband Jeff Way of Pleasureville; her children, Cassy Edgerton (Austin) of Pleasureville, Damon Ayers of Bloomfield, Brack Way (Caitlin) of Pleasureville, Charles Allen Way of Warsaw and Jeffery Travis Way of Beaver Dam; and her siblings, Misty Stone of Pleasureville, Doug Ayers (Sarah) of Defoe, Bobby Hardin (Betty) of Defoe, Donnie Hardin of Louisville and Jackie Ayers of Oklahoma. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beckley Funeral Home (5710 Castle Hwy, Pleasureville, KY 40057). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
