He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirk Cole and Audrey Cole (Lowe); his former wife Lucille Cole; his children, Gary Cole and Teresa Butler Butt; and his siblings, Kenneth Cole, Don Cole, Ralph Cole, Eleanor Cole Dawsey, Kathleen Cole Scheckel and Steven Cole.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Cole; his daughter Denise Cole; his siblings, Willard Cole (MaryAnn) and Joanne Puckett; his granddaughters, Jennifer Huelsman (Eric) and Stephanie Doyle; his stepdaughter Kem Haley (Jerry); his great grandchildren, Anna Huelsman, Aurora Doyle, Lucy Huelsman and Eva Huelsman; his stepgrandson Jason Haley (Ali); his son-in-law Ron Butt (Tina); and his sister-in-law Betty Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Plum Springs Baptist Church, Hosparus Health Barren River or St. Jude.
