He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan P. Day and Inez Ratliff Day; and his sisters, Brenda, Doris, Marlene, Zelma and Penny.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Day; his daughters, Miranda Sisco of Knoxville, Amanda Osborne of Morgantown and Kayla Creech (Chris) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sister Peggy Sturgill of Kingscreek; and his grandchildren, Eli, Emily, Wyatt, Luke, Gracie and Waylon.
