She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Hicks; her parents, John L. Fugate and Pearl Goodman; and her children, Maurice Hicks, Dana Caudill, Iris Pettit and Rosemary McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Hicks of Lexington, KY and Nora Hicks of Richmond, KY; and her grandchildren, Ashla Adams, Stacy Chapman, Kristy Williams, Jonathan Chapman, Jason Caudill, Jennifer Caudill and Heather Wells. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
