He is survived by: his wife Bessie Prater Shepherd; his son Thomas James Shepherd (Laurie); his grandchildren, Austyn Shepherd, Michael Shepherd and Sara Abigail Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Mila Elizabeth, Harrison Ellis and Delilah; and his sister-in-law Patricia Duddleson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
