He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lester and Irene Hamilton Blackburn; his son Kevin Blackburn; his stepson Dean Conn; and his brother-in-law Gene Pinson.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Mae; and his sisters, Phyllis Pinson and Lavonne Blevins (Bob).
