He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bishop and Mandy McCoy Bishop. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Bishop of Prestonsburg, Steve Bishop of Florida and Brian Bishop of Pikeville, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
