He was predeceased by: his uncle Lewis Montgomery; and his grandfathers, Bill Henry Montgomery and Everett Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Steve Montgomery of Prestonsburg and Melissa Johnson Montgomery of Stanton, Kentucky.; his son Lewis Riley Montgomery of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; his sister Brittany Hale (Sam) of Blue River, Kentucky; his nephew Samuel Hale; and his grandparents, Sue Reynolds, Linda and Gary Hoskins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649).
