He is survived by: his girlfriend Kay Stephens; his sons, Larry Duane Thompson and David Gene Thompson; his sisters, Carol Sue Gibson and Betty Lou Wilhite; his brother-in-law Glen Gibson; and his friend Dougie Spears. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
