She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Stephens Madison and Fred Madison; her husband Donald R. Compton Sr.; and her sister Judith Madison Adams. She is survived by: her children, Donald Ray Compton (Kimberly) of Prestonsburg, KY and Terry Spradlin (Greg) of Nicholasville, KY.; and her grandchildren, Trevor Compton (Deanna) of Prestonsburg, KY, Zachary Spradlin (Brigid) of Alexandria, VA and Julie Whitt (Daniel) of Lexington, KY..
