She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jackson Hackworth and Lucy Whitaker Hackworth; her husband Hershel Shell; her son Jimmy Kash Risner; her great grandchild Ashley Marie Case; and her siblings, William Lloyd Hackworth Sr., Russell Boyd Hackworth, Bobby Lowell Hackworth, Anna Lee "Buck" Harmon Chaney and Grace Alene Buess.
She is survived by: her son Henry Taylor Risner (Belinda); her daughter-in-law Jill Brereton-Risner; her grandchildren, Henry Risner Jr., Jason Russell Risner, Robert Jackson Risner, Tracey Lynn Risner and Christopher Risner; her great grandchildren, Tiffany Blackburn and Josh Risner; her great great grandchild Astrella Mae Blackburn; and her brother Henry Otis Hackworth.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home (234 S Lake Dr, Prestonsburg, KY 41653). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
