She was predeceased by: her parents, Berlie Yates and Etis Hicks Yates; and her sisters, Deborah Masterson and Carolyne Hall. She is survived by: her spouse Smith Edward Marsillett; her sons, Kenneth Marsillett (Mary Elizabeth) of Prestonsburg and Jeffrey Allen Marsillett (Devin) of Blaine, Kentucky; her siblings, Therman Sparkman of Warsaw, Indiana, Kathy Compton (Joe) of Indiana, Tena Ousley (Don) of Indiana and Tonda White (Allen) of Indiana; and her grandchildren, Haylee Marsillett and Hannah Marsillett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Prestonsburg (234 S Lake Dr, Prestonsburg, KY 41653). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
