He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shell and Ruby Baker Shell; and his sisters, Ruby Ann Shell and Ruann Salyer. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Shell; his children, Brandon Maynard of Prestonsburg, Richard Maynard of Shelbiana, Kentucky and Deana Hansen of Louisville, Kentucky; and his brothers, James Shell and Frank Shell of Prestonsburg. He is also survived by Five Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Prestonsburg (234 S Lake Dr, Prestonsburg, KY 41653).
