He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper N. West and Bertha L. Merrick West; his former wife Betty L. West; his wife Lauren K. West; and his sisters, LaVerne Couch and Carol Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula West of Lexington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
