She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Hale and Pansy Rennison Hale; her husband James "J. W." William Hensley; and her brothers, Billy Hale and Gaylon Hale.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Sherill of Princeton and Larry Hensley (Brenda) of Princeton; her grandson Ryan Hensley of Princeton; and her siblings, Lucille Hale Poe of Hopkinsville and James Haile (Vonda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
