He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barrett Hooks of Princeton, Kentucky; his children, Carrie Voss (John) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Billy Hooks (Mandy) of Princeton, Kentucky; his sisters, Phyllis Curling (Hollis) of Florida and Brenda Ramey of Texas; his grandchildren, Paisley Hooks, Max Hooks, Taylee Hooks, Jack Hooks, Emily Voss and Ava Voss; and his nieces and nephews, Missy Lee, Mike Curling, Darrel Ramey, Shellie Ramey, Barrett Johnson and Deanie Herring.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
