He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hillyard (Phelps) and Marion Anthony "Tony" Phelps; his siblings, Bill Phelps (Linda), Darrell "Buzz" Phelps (Faye), Doug Phelps (Kaye), Nancy Carroll Huffstutter (Phelps) and Margie Carner (Phelps); his grandsons, Joshua Hillyard and Seth Hillyard (Jessica) of Louisville, KY; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Maddie, Lucy, Dylan, Lucas, Sam and Owen.
