He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" Horning and Norma Stephens Horning; and his siblings, Sonny Horning, Ann Rhye and Myrtle Frazer.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Wynn Horning; his sons, Don Horning (Margie) of Caldwell County and Mike Horning (Misty) of Caldwell County; his siblings, Bobby Horning of Caldwell County and Bonnie Fletcher of Caldwell County; his grandchildren, Whitley Horning, Garret Horning, Lynzee Horning and Drew Horning; his great grandchild Jace Michael Horning; and his pet Possum. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
