Randal Wayne Merrick Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2026, at the age of 78, Randal Wayne Merrick of Princeton, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Tom" Merrick and Mary Hazel P'Pool Merrick; his former wife Suzanne Merrick; and his siblings, Mildred Mitchell, Aline M. Wood, Pearl Dixon, Ellouise Mitchell, Thomas, James, Richard and Archie Merrick.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley "Sue" Cooper Merrick; his children, Jennifer Leah Merrick of Louisville, Sherry Jordan (Randy) of Princeton, Darryl Wayne Merrick (Rui) of California and Jason Ryan Merrick (Lori) of Princeton; and his siblings, Lillian Nell Hale of Hopkinsville, Katherine Keefer of Richmond, VA, Linda Curvin of Chattanooga, TN and Clifford Don Merrick of Symsonia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
