He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Glenn Lane; and his sister Jenny Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jan York of Princeton; his daughters, Joy Combs of Hopkinsville, Sandy (Bob Hinton) and Tina (James Shockley); his grandchildren, Amanda Crutchfield, Kyle Teer, Katie Teer, Caleb Teer, Zach Shockley and Bailey Shockley; his great grandchild Maggie; his parents, Charlie York and Evelyn York; his sister Charlotte Lane; his brother-in-law Jerry Bowers; his sister Sue Cotton; and his brother-in-law Bobby Cotton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
