He is survived by : his wife Mildred Anne Freeman Oliver; his son RJ Oliver of Boone County, KY; his siblings, Linda Hamby (Tommy) of Caldwell County, Shirley Riley of Lyon County, Nita Oliver of Lyon County, Roger Dale Rushing (Karen) of Union County, Gary A. Rushing of Crittenden County, David Lee Rushing of Caldwell County and Jerry Dean Rushing of Caldwell County; and his grandchildren, Austin Dale Oliver of Boone County and Hailey Paige Oliver of Boone County.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (205 Nichols St, Princeton, KY 42445).
