She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Harry and Winnie Louise Sutfin Lander; her husband Mahlon "Gene" Copeland; and her siblings, Dorothy Louise Lander Gude, Clemmie Ophelia Lander Boyd, Martha Ann Rogers, John Leslie Lander and Henry Lander.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Copeland (Angela) of Paducah and Dena Copeland of Paducah; her brother Donald Earl Lander (Mary Ann) of Cadiz; her grandchildren, Kiana Riley, Gabrielle Copeland and Mason Copeland; her great grandchildren, Carl Warren, Jr. and Salea Riley; and her brother-in-law Claude Boyd of Princeton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
