She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Sato and Noi Sato; her husband Alfred Morioka; her grandparents, Emperor Hirohito and Princess To Fumiko; her children, Carol Tait (Bill), Jody Barksdale (Richard), Amy Dickerson (Jon) and Kent Morioka (Hitomi); her grandchildren, James Fujita, Kari Barksdale and Hana; her great grandchild Akira Barwick; her sisters-in-law, Tatsuko Sato and Virginia Sato; her siblings, George Sato, Mary Takamine, Frank Sato, Paul Sato, Perry Sato, Roger Sato and Kenneth Sato; her granddaughter Kristen Barwick; Toki Ema.
