He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irby Clyde and Thelma Merle Peterson (Tadlock); his wife Patricia Peterson; his siblings, Stanley Peterson (Jo) and Joan Smith (Jay-Ray); his nieces and nephews, Susan Steinkamp (Bernie), Michael Stith (Traci), Stephanie Schneidtmiller (Chris), Todd Peterson and Stacey Justice (Jon); and his grandchildren, Saveria Steinkamp (William Cornell), Olivia Steinkamp, Gwyndolen Stith, Jonah Justice, Abigail Bishop (Tucker), Jackson Schneidtmiller, Lucas Schneidtmiller, Claire Justice, Julian David Justice and Katherine Justice.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fields Episcopal Church (6710 Wolf Pen Branch Rd, Prospect, KY 40059). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
