It is with sadness that the passing of Rachel Weatherby of Prospect, Kentucky is shared. Rachel, born on August 5, 1943, passed away on October 5, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rachel Weatherby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Boutcher and Robert "Brack" Boutcher; and her husbands, Corby Powers, Edmund "Ed" Weatherby III and Bobby Brockman.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Powers (Pamela), Ned Weatherby (Amy), Kim Strange (Doc), Lance Weatherby (Abby) and Britt Weatherby (Sue); and her grandchildren, Alan Powers, Emma, Caleb, Isabelle, Alex Weatherby, Riley Jaggers, Jack, Kate Weatherby, Chris White of Kathleen, JD and Corey Speicher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Stoess Funeral Home (6534 State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church Cemetery (5770 KY-1389, Hawesville, KY 42348).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus Health or the WHAS Crusade for Children.
