Alvin Skinner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Skinner (Providence, Kentucky), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Skinner and Lucille Skinner; and his former wife Wanda Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Clay; his children, Dana Bowles (Greg) of Hanson, Chris Skinner (Candy), Mitchell Hedgepath (T. J.) of Newburgh, IN and Michael Hedgepath (Holli); his brother Thomas Skinner (Linda) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Kati Parker (Jacob), Grant Skinner, Parker Bowles, Dalton Hedgepath (Alyse), Natalie Hedgepath, Lilly Moman, Ruby Kate Hedgepath and Georgia Hedgepath; and his great grandchildren, Elena Parker and Asher Parker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church (309 W Main St, Providence, KY 42450). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
